Crazy69: Addicted To Life – The Sound of Lived Passion
Crazy69 stands for honest, handmade hard rock – with heart, attitude and history. The four musicians are among the veterans of the Munich scene, who shaped the Bavarian epicenter of hard rock in the 80s with bands such as Provoke, Rotten Rose, Arair, Lovetrick or Helter Skelter and clubs such as Backstage or Feierwerk. What began in smoky rehearsal rooms has now matured into a band that combines experience, joy of playing and authenticity in an unmistakable style.
From scene legend to new start
Behind Crazy69 are musicians who have never let go of rock'n'roll. Bassist and songwriter Stonie played with Provoke and LoveTrick in the 80s, toured across Germany - until a studio fire put an abrupt end to his career. Out of the ashes was born the acoustic project Player, which successfully interpreted rock songs in the "unplugged" style for over a decade. Later, Stonie founded today's formation Crazy69 to rekindle the spirit of hard rock.
Handmade, genuine, independent
The album "Addicted To Life" was produced completely in-house - with analogue values and digital know-how. The recording was done with a deliberately offline setup, the production in intimate two-person sessions. This creates closeness, dynamics and a sound that stands out. Jan Vacik was responsible for the final mix, who perfectly strikes the balance between raw rock energy and radio suitability. With the song "C'mon C'mon C'mon", Crazy69 won third place in the Music Contest 2025 at Radio-Venus 24, which underlines their continued relevance and popularity.
